My name is Rochelle and I am a Graphic Designer. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and I always had a passion for art and design. I went to the College of Lake County where I completed an Associate of Arts degree. Afterwards, I attended Roosevelt University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Marketing. I've studied branding, typography, and visual hierarchy, and was able to apply these skills for freelance projects.
I love working with brands to help bring their ideas to life, in a way that looks good and makes sense. I believe good design should communicate an idea, solve problems, and tell a story. While working as a design intern for Fresh Made Cafe, I was able to learn how to problem solve and adapt to what each project needs. In addition, working for South Project and Love Life Now has helped me strengthen my skills and gain valuable hands-on experience collaborating with clients and bringing visual ideas to life. I'm currently looking for a full time role as a graphic designer and would appreciate learning about any available opportunities.
When I'm not doing creative work, you can find me listening to music, baking, taking photos, going thrifting, or attending local concerts.
